Dark Waters End - Submersion
lyrics
Immortal Consciousness
Fuck this human contract that we all have signed. Looming expiration, DNA entwined.
Identity conceived of nothing to nothing returns. the puppeteer trapped within his own marionette burns.
Genocide, Genocide, Genocide, Genocide, Mass Genocide
Cursed in the womb. Embrace your doom.
Death does not compute. Life is my pursuit. Immortality obsession.
Throw the rulebook out. Purge myself of doubt. Seeking man's final transgression.
I will find it.
Break the body down, seek the soul, pry the ghost from its shell
Frenzied mind of a maniac, cling to the gates of hell as it beckons him
Rise above moral judgement. Recognize the greater good.
Cowards call me a monster, if only they had understood.
I’m becoming God, becoming God, righteously heir to earth.
I’m becoming God, becoming God. My second birth.
Break the body down, seek the soul, pry the ghost from its shell
Frenzied mind of a maniac, cling to the gates of hell as it beckons him
All men bend to their vices: intoxication, sex, or fame.
Countless scum I have taken and dissected in my own holy name.
I’m becoming God, becoming God, righteously heir to earth
I’m becoming God, becoming God. My second birth.
Obliteration leads to salvation.
But at last I have found both id and ego in the brain.
Fleeting electric pulses, tethered wires seek and drain.
Strap myself in, flip the switch, initial Shock
Pulled beyond human limits, time slips away. Digitized and delivered: Eternal plane.
The power surges, the world goes black and cold. A mind cascading, binary coded soul.
Life is transformed.
The human format must be deleted for it is obsolete.

I dig this album so much, definitely a keeper. Subtly and masterfully mixing death metal subgenres, backed with an over the top production. They're true professionals. Can't wait for their next release! doive

never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu
