about

Dark Waters End - Submersion

lyrics

Empty Skies

Eyes cast towards the heavens in search of some meager truth.
Humbled before endless, unfathomable heights above.

Desiring Answers to the answerless, frustration leads to liars rising through the bleak abyss.

Their tales will feed us.

We feasted on their fictions and rejoiced in every myth they marked.
At last we had some scripture to scream back at the eternal dark.
East generation's passing leads the next into an age
where the screaming masses bludgeon curiosities to the grave
“It is so because it always has been so! It is so because it always has been so!”
Place your doubts in the coffers of a self indulgent man. Let him smother them in words.
But the power of the brain digests these claims and they hunger for a remedy that is man’s.

Scrutiny and patience lead to finding no deity controls our lives.

Atrocities have persisted in the name of a god, which leads to retaliation: perpetual cyclical sacrifice.

Perpetual Cyclical Sacrifice.

Does God wish to prevent evil but is not able? Then he’s not omnipotent.

Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Does God wish to prevent evil but is not able? Then he’s not omnipotent.

Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?
Treasure your human reason. Trust what your senses reveal.
If it can't be seen or tested, it cannot be real.
Revel in the realization that your existence is a fluke.
Absolute purposelessness is freedom. Live well and die
